Water for life

THIS is with reference to the article “Water for life,” by Yasmin llahi (YW, November 22, 2014). It was an informative and praiseworthy article.

No doubt, water is as essential as oxygen to us. However, many of us don’t focus on saving water and forget the worth of this blessing. If each one of us tries to concentrate on the little act, we might save a lot of water, not only for us but for all living things.

Skin care is a must in winter

THIS is with the reference to the article “Skin care is a must in winter” by Wajeeha Rehan (YW, November 15, 2014). The article was very informative and all the tips were really useful. I didn’t know that taking bath with hot water in winter makes one’s hair and skin drier, thus I am really thankful to the writer for providing with very great information.

Celebrity news

I AM a big fan of Young World magazine. The new layout is eye-catching, but what I really want is a column updating readers on relevant celebrity news or at least a centre-page article on celebrities.

Moreover, YW never covers music reviews so I suggest that there should be a review of new music albums. I believe this change would make this magazine more popular between teens and kids.

My garbology

THIS is regarding the website review “My garbology” by Asif Ali (YW, November 22, 2014). It will not be wrong to say that we are the destroyer of our very own planet’s atmosphere and we continue to do so which is why it is deteriorating with every passing day.

In such a scenario the website, “My garbolgy” was an eye opener, in fact a reminder to what we are doing with our beautiful world.

The beautiful animation on the website was amazing and I came to know about many facts. More articles should be written on environmental issues because I think children should know how they can take care of their planet and stay healthy.

Improved vocabulary

BEING a regular reader of YW magazine, everybody has noticed a great improvement in my language and vocabulary skills. This is really an interesting and informative magazine it has also groomed my personality. I, not only enjoy reading it, but with immense information YW guides me about important aspects of life.

I appreciate the efforts of the YW team in bringing out such a great magazine every week.

Young World

I EAGERLY wait for every Saturday mornings so that I can read my favourite magazine Young World. The two things I like in the magazine are “Quiz” and “Story time” section.

In “Quiz” we get lots of information on science, geography, history, human body, world, etc. While in “Story time” the stories are amazing and full of moral. I learned many things from YW and that’s why I always suggest to my friends to read this informative magazine.
