QUETTA: Dr Ahmad Khan Achakzai, younger brother of Balochistan Governor Mohammad Khan Achakzai and Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai, passed away on Wednesday.

Dr Ahmad Khan was ill for long and was under treatment in a hospital at Karachi.

The family sources said that the body would be shifted to Quetta on Thursday and buried in their ancestral graveyard at village Inaya-tullah Karez in Gulistan.

EDUCATIONIST DIES: Prominent educationist and former vice chancellor of Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University Jamila Qazi died on Wednesday evening.
