KARACHI: The Sindh Olympic Association (SOA) organised the Boxing Youth Development Programme here at the Kakri Ground in Lyari for the promotion of the sport at the grass-roots level in which about 80 young pugilists participated.

Overall, the Maripur Boxing Club secured the first position while Salawat Boxing Club and Shaheed Shahzad Boxing Clubs secured the second and third position respectively.

Dr Javed Yousaf Qamar, Vice Chairman SOA, was the chief guest during the closing ceremony and distributed the prizes and certificates among the players and officials. Saleem Pracha, Associate Secretary SOA, Secretary Karachi Boxing Association Sabir Khan and officials of District Boxing Association South, Central, East & Malir were also present on the occasion.
