FC soldier among two killed in Peshawar blast

PESHAWAR: Two people including a Frontier Corps (FC) soldier were killed and three others injured in a blast targeting security forces in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa capital’s Hayatabad neighbourhood on Friday, sources said.

Official sources told Dawn.com that a roadside bomb exploded when a vehicle of Frontier Corps went pass it in Hayatabad. One civilian was killed and another wounded in the blast as well.

Injured and bodies were shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex.

Earlier, two people were injured in another blast near Zaryab Colony of the city.

No one has so far claimed responsibility for the suspected attacks.
