Ufone to offer iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus in Pakistan

Telecommunication service provider Ufone in partnership with Apple announced on Friday the launch of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in Pakistan.

The popular smartphones will be made available to consumers under the banner of the telecom service provider from Dec 11 this year.

Customers will be able to register online for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus from Nov 28 at the company's website, a press statement said.

This is the first time that Apple has collaborated with a Pakistani telecommunication provider for the launch of its signature smartphone.

Apple is considered one of the biggest names in technology-related products and is widely believed to be the world’s second-largest information technology company.

Despite the phone’s official unavailability in the country, iPhone enjoys a large fan base in Pakistan, with many users already awaiting the entry of the new product.

iPhone 6 was first officially introduced two months ago in the United States.

It's heart warming to know that a company owned by Indians called KGT based in Dubai has distribution rights for Apple in Pakistan. 2 companies represent Apple in Pakistan and one of them is owned by Indians. Aman Ki Asha in action.

Well it might be expensive enough to allow banks to start micro financing for Iphone 6. I mean it will cost at least 100,000 to buy an Iphone on contract of two years.

This is amazing! As an iPhone user I always hated the fact that I had no guarantee, or official sale point in Pakistan. There wasn't even anyway of knowing if the phone is real. Highlight of the week!

i brought an iPhone 6 from overseas and to be honest, its a great phone and the new IOS works great with it. Cosmetically its a disaster. There are already dings on my phone and I havent even been too abusive with it. Be sure to get a case for your phones, people.

@Apple Enthusiast : my friend this is business ! Indian company is not doing us a favor instead they are adding an additional source of revenue. Iphone is pretty common in Pakistan just for your info :)
