MANAGEMENT COUNCIL REVIVED: After approval of the new Health Reforms Act by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, the management council of the Ayub Medical Complex has been revived, which was earlier stopped from working following formation of the board of governors of the AMC five months back.

Confusion was created over the management of the affairs of the Ayub Medical College and Ayub Medical Complex due to enforcement of two parallel laws which had badly affected the performance of the AMC since May 2014.
