LAHORE: Jamaat-i-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq has stressed that the government should immediately resume talks and honour its commitment regarding reconstitution of the Election Commission, electoral reforms and setting up of a judicial commission to probe ‘rigging’ in the 2013 elections.

A press release quoted him as saying here on Friday that the government and the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf should show flexibility to create a conducive atmosphere for dialogue. Instead of fighting with each other, he said, the political parties should sit together and find out solutions to the people’s problems.
