International cricket for Niaz Stadium

HYDERABAD, Sept 6: The District Nazim of Hyderabad Dr. Makhdoom Rafique Zaman declared that he would do his utmost for the resumption of Test and One-Day matches at Niaz Stadium so that the people of interior Sindh could watch the national and international cricket stars in action.

“The District Government Hyderabad is making all out efforts to restore the status of historic Niaz Stadium, where Pakistani Cricket team had never lost any match at this venue”, Makhdoom said.

Dr Makhdoom, who is also the vice-president of Sindh Cricket Association (SCA) said that the District Government was in touch with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to retain the status of Niaz Stadium as Test and One Day venue.—APP
