CHAKWAL: Two men were killed in Chakwal in two separate incidents.

According to police sources, the first incident occurred in Teen Marla Scheme where Naeem Rafique, a resident of Pir Sahaba Road in Chakwal city, was shot dead.

Abida Parveen told City police that her son, Naeem, was called by Mohammad Imran who told him that he had been invited for lunch at the house of Khaliqur Rehman. But when Naeem reached there, Imran along with an accomplice of Khalique and his wife shot Naeem dead.

City Police have started efforts to trace the three accused after registering a case against them.

In the second incident, a man was killed after quarrelling with his brother. According to police sources, Malik Mohammad Basheer and Malik Mohammad Nazeer had differences over some domestic issue. On Wednesday both brothers quarrelled again and used batons. As a result, Malik Mohammad Basheer suffered head injuries. He was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital where he died.

Dhudial Police have started efforts to trace Malik Mohammad Nazeer who managed to escape.
