Myths and mysteries

THIS is with reference to Myths and mysteries “The strange rain phenomenon” by Fatima Sajid (YW, September 27, 2014). I really liked the topic as strange rain pours in many parts of the world. Sometimes, it feels fascinating that it rained fish or toad while it is scary when red rain phenomenon occurs. I enjoy reading this section as it informs me about interesting and sometimes scary things happening around the world.

Eidul Azha

EIDUL AZHA is not only a festival to enjoy, but it delivers a very important message as well. It teaches us the lesson of sacrifice. Sometimes in order to live a happy and peaceful life, we have to sacrifice our most precious belongings, it could be anything from a material possession to a priceless relationship. The moral of Eidul Azha is that we should never hesitate to sacrifice even the most precious thing in our life to obey Allah’s commands.

Astrology

THOUGH the subject of astrology might not be of interest for many, it still holds importance that’s why we see many websites about astrology that provide readers with free horoscopes for all the 12 signs of the zodiac.

I request the Young World team to explore this subject and publish an in-depth article about different aspects of zodiac signs.

Obese kids

IT’S hard to maintain weight for middle-aged people but it’s shocking to see the growing number of obese teenagers. During teenage our metabolism is faster and it’s easier to digest food and maintain a healthy weight but nowadays people’s unhealthy lifestyle has changed this.

Large portions of junk food, too many hours of sitting in front of the computer and minimal physical activity have been contributing towards weight issues among kids. Children should adopt a healthy lifestyle and balance their lives by eating healthy homemade food, spending less time on the PC or watching TV, and getting physically active by participating in sports.
