Asian umpires clinic starts

KARACHI, Sept 2: A five-day Asian umpires clinic commenced here on Tuesday with participants from seven countries including hosts Paistan attending the clinic.

The basic purpose of conducting the clinic was to enhance the knowledge of Asian umpires and inform them about the latest development in the sport.

Mako Kami Suki of Japan is conducting the clinic which is being organized by Pakistan Hockey Federation (FIH) is conducting the clinic in collaboration with Asian Hockey Federation (AHF).

Those invited to attend the clinic included: Thani Shaheen Saad Al-Wahabi (Oman), Karam-ul-Zaman Bin Abdul Rahman (Malaysia), Kim Hong Lae (Korea), Hssein Yari Nia, Muhammadreza Stermadi, Shahour Muradkhani (Iran), Bala Muraly (Singapore), Zahid Ali (Kazakhsta), Muhammad Asif, Iftikhar Ahmed, Zulfiqar Haider, Kamran Shah, Rana Muhammad Liaqat, Mohsin Ali Khan, Farooq Ashraf Awan, Fareed Ansari, Haider Rasool, Muhammad Naeem, Zeb-un-Nisa, Rahat Khan, Humaira Masoor, Razia Rizvi (Pakistan).—APP
