People are supreme

THE government is slowly revealing itself: from rigging elections to killing people in Lahore. Our prime minister is hiding behind the constitution to protect his seat, the same constitution which provides protection to people’s lives and property. These people bend the law according to their interests.

Imran Khan has, for the past one year, been calling upon the Election Commission of Pakistan to rectify the wrong done in the previous elections but no heed was paid to his demands.

I have nothing personal against the prime minister, but for the sake of the country I would request him to quit.
