RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif said on Friday that terrorists would be rooted out from their hideouts — even the most treacherous ones and the ones located in far-off areas.

The army chief made these remarks while talking to SSG troops after witnessing the joint field training exercise of Pakistani and Chinese special forces at the headquarters of Special Services Group near Cherat.

He commended the troops for their outstanding performance in war against militancy, particularly Operation Zarb-i-Azb.
