LAHORE: The Haj flight operation will begin on Thursday (today). Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf inspected the arrangements for pilgrims at the Haj terminal on Wednesday.

He said the government had ensured better arrangements for the pilgrims in Saudi Arabia as well. He said two Boeing 777 and as many Boeing 747 were in the Haj operation.

Shujaat Azeem, special assistant to the prime minister on aviation, said the report on Karachi airport attack had been presented to the prime minister and it would soon be made public.

This year the PIA would operate 112 flights to transport 54,000 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
