LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and the Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) signed on Wednesday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote business activities between Pakistan and Indonesia.

Under the MoU, both the chambers will work together for improving trade, commerce and economic relations between the two countries by adopting a new strategy for exchange of information relating to their respective markets.

The accord will help facilitate the exchange of trade teams between the two chambers which will work jointly to identify snags affecting their trade.

The LCCI and the JCCI will also conduct a joint research for exploring possibilities of trade and investment.LCCI President Engineer Sohail Lashari and JCCI President IR Eddy Kuntadi inked the MoU on behalf of their respective chambers. Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan Burhan Muhammad and Pakistan Ambassador to Indonesia Attiya Mahmood were also present.
