KARACHI, July 23: The city government has announced the admission policy for 100 government colleges in Karachi,

while maintaining the Centralized Admission Policy (CAP) intact.

The city government has setup information centres for boys at D.J. Science College, Govt College for Men Nazimabad, Govt Superior Science College, Adamji Science College, Govt Degree College, Gulshan-i-Iqbal.

For girls the centres have been set up at Govt College for Women, Shahrah-i-Liaquat, Sir Syed Govt Girls College, Khatoon-i- Pakistan Govt College for Women, Khurshid Govt Girls College and Govt College for Women Korangi.

The prospectus will be available from July 28 to August 7 at 34 branches of Habib Bank Limited against a payment of Rs50.

The branches from where the prospectus will be available are:

Muslim Town North Karachi, Shahrah-i-Pakistan, Aisha Manzil, FB Area, Abul Isphani Road, Gulistan-i-Jauhar, Gulshan-i-Iqbal Block-5, Sakhi Hasan, Yusuf Plaza, Karimabad, Al-Azam, Pak Colony, Rizvia Society, Barkat Hyderi, Orangi Township, Paposhnagar, DMC, Kharadar, Lyari, Shershah, Jamshed Road, Hasan Square, MA Jinnah Road, Sindhi Muslim Housing Society, Modern Housing Society Shaheed-e-Millat Road, Buhadarabad, Malir City, Malir Halt, Korangi No 5, Babar Market Landhi, Drigh Colony No 1, Drigh Road Cantt Bazar, Delhi Colony, Zaibunnisa Street and Clifton.

A city government spokesman said that admissions would be provided in Science, Commerce, Humanities, General Science and Home Economics groups.

The students having passed matric or an equivalent examination will be eligible for admission.—APP
