KARACHI, July 23: The NED University of Engineering and Technology has announced that the admission test for batch 2003- 04 will be held at the campus on July 26.

The university advised the candidates being appeared in the test to reach the campus latest by 9.30am on the said date, as they would have to undergo a security check at the main gate. Moreover, the candidates should only bring pencil, eraser and scientific calculators (non-programmable) with them.

In a notification issued on Wednesday, the NED administration stated that the entry of parents or guardians, accompanying the candidates, would also be subject to security check including search of handbags and purses, which may cause inconvenience to them, but could not be avoided for the sake of ensuring security.—APP
