SIALKOT: The National Engineering Services Pakistan (Nespak) has prepared a feasibility report to build two overhead bridges in Sialkot to overcome traffic jams.

This was stated by District Coordination Officer (DCO) Nadeem Sarwar at a meeting of businessmen at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Friday.

The DCO said the bridges would be built at China Chowk and Shahabpura but the construction would begin once the funds would be allocated in the 2015-16 fiscal budget.

He said the provincial government was working on a feasibility report to establish a ring road around the Sialkot city.

SEMINAR: The SCCI organised a seminar on ‘Cyber Crimes and Preventive Measures’ to raise awareness among businessmen regarding potential threats of cyber scams.

Federal Investigation Agency officials briefed the exporters about the preventive measures.

DROWNS: An unidentified man drowned in the Marala-Ravi-Link canal near Qila Kalarwala-Pasrur on Friday.

Divers of Rescue 1122 retrieved the body from the canal and handed it over to police.
