KARACHI: A police constable was shot dead in a suspected targeted attack in Pirabad on Thursday morning, police said.

They added that when 35-year-old Mohammed Sajjad Abbasi dropped his children at a school and was on his way to work, armed motorcyclists intercepted him at a speed breaker near his home in Islamia Colony in Qasba Colony-1. They opened fire on him and fled.
