KHUZDAR: A local leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N was shot dead in his home on the outskirts of Khuzdar town on Sunday, police said.

Gunmen barged into the house of Abdul Khaliq and opened fire at him, leaving him injured. He was taken to the Combined Military Hospital in Khuzdar where doctors pronounced him dead, PML-N sources said.

The general secretary of PML-N in Khuzdar, Aziz Umrani, condemned the murder and said the government had failed in providing security to the party’s leaders and workers.
