The write-up in Images ‘Postcard from Sydney’ (July 27) is beautiful.

I am on a visit to Sydney these days and visited Lakemba just a day before I read the write-up on Dawn’s website. All that the writer has described was happening before me.

This place is just like South Hall in London, but more organised. You can find everything that is available in Clifton and the Eid Bazars.

The Friday congregation in the Lakemba Mosque was really a large one and had Muslims from many countries, but the more prominent among them were those from Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.
