ISLAMABAD: Three people, including a teenage girl, died in separate incidents here on Wednesday, police said.

In the first incident, a 17-year-old girl was shot dead at her house in Chistianabad, Tarnol.

The victim’s family members claimed that a man had sent a marriage proposal for her, but they rejected it. Feeling annoyed, he allegedly came to their house and shot her.

The police, however, said the killing was being investigated as evidence contradicted the family’s allegation.

The police claim that at the time of the incident, the alleged killer was playing in the ground with other boys. He was also found among people who had gathered outside the victim’s house after her killing.

In another incident a man was found dead at Chattha Bakhtawar.

The incident came to light when some passersby spotted a body and later informed the police who reached the spot and shifted it to the hospital.

The victim, who is yet to be identified, had an injury to his head which probably claimed his life.

According to the police, preliminary investigation suggested that the man had been murdered somewhere else and later his body was dumped at Chattha Bakhtawar.

Meanwhile, a labourer was killed after falling from a shopping centre at D-17.

Sohail Aslam was working on the top floor of the centre when he slipped and fell down.
