QUETTA: Gas supply from Balochistan’s district of Jaffarabad to Karachi and other parts of Sindh was restored after the pipeline was repaired in village Khuda Bakhsh Jakhrani on Monday.
The 18-inch diameter pipeline was blown up by a remote-controlled device, causing suspension of supply to some parts of Karachi and interior of Sindh.

Pakistan Petroleum Ltd officials said that technical teams carried out the repair work amid tight security and the supply was fully restored. They appealed to the local tribal elders to extend their cooperation for security of gas installations.
