KARACHI: The Karachi Race Club (KRC) abruptly cancelled the Gymkhana race meeting at 12midnight citing want of competition after the field released earlier has gone into the print.

“The races have been cancelled due to lack of competition” said a message sent on the mobile of this correspondent by spokesman for the KRC at midnight.

It is pertinent to mention that this is not the first time that the institution has abruptly cancelled the races after releasing the field.

Meanwhile, according to announcement, the next Gymkhana race meeting will be held after Eid.
