QUETTA: Two policemen were killed and another two injured when their vehicle came under fire in Kuchlak area on Sunday, police said.
The policemen van was patrolling the area when they were ambushed. The attackers fled after the incident.
The policemen died on the spot and the injured were taken to hospital.
According to sources in the hospital, multiple bullet wounds caused the death.
One of the dead was identified as Syed Noor.
After the incident, security personnel launched a search operation in the area surrounding the scene of the attack but no arrest was reported.
