After winning the hearts of many with the splendid show performance against Germany in the round 16 of World Cup, the Algerians have decided to donate their prize money to the poor in Gaza.
UK-based Daily Mail reported Algeria forward Islam Slimani as saying, "[Gaza] need it more than us," adding that, it was the team's decision to donate the prize money.
The display of generosity by Algerians has once again surprised the whole world and surely they must have won more hearts.
On their return, Algerian team received an overwhelming welcome by the people. The players paraded through the streets in a bus.

Algeria played fantastic football against Belgium, Russia, South Korea and Germany. Those footballers of Algeria are heroes on and off the field.

Not one word or action from the Saudis in support of the Palestinians who continue to suffer 66 plus years of occupation and slaughter. Why? Because their mentors the Americans said you keep out and we won't ever mention democracy in Saudi Arabia and more recently they have joined forces with the Zionists in playing the Shia-Sunni game. Doesn't matter how many Palestinians get murdered, the Saudis are only too happy to go along.

The civil war in Algeria that began in 1991,cost an estimated 50,000 to 1,50,000 lives. Algeria has come out this all and managed to send a team to the world cup. Kudos to them. Expect to hear a lot about African nations in the World Cup in the future.
