Hockey trials

KARACHI, Oct 11: Three-day open trials to select under-17 probables from Sindh Zone for the 2004 Junior World Cup Hockey will be held at Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium from Monday at 3.00 P.M.

According to a news release trials will be conducted to further bolster and enlarge the base at the junior level and to create pool players at that level.

The players who have been selected already picked in under-16 are not eligible for trials. Players under-17 by January 1, 2001 can appear in the trials.

The players have been advised to report for the trials with sports gears, uniform (colour and white) and bedding.—APP
