CHAKWAL: Three teenagers drowned in separate incidents on Sunday, police sources said.

The first incident occurred in Fim Kassar village where Moeen Shahzad, 17, and Mohammad Ali, 18, both residents of Kot Iqbal village, went to bathe in a local village reservoir.

They slipped into deep water and drowned.

The villagers rushed to the scene and informed Rescue 1122.

The rescue divers recovered the bodies and the teenagers were buried in their village, later in the evening.

Similarly, Babar Sultan, 17, a resident of Fareed Kassar village went to the Mian Mire dam with his buffaloes.

He was cleaning them when he slipped into deep water and drowned. Villagers and Rescue 1122 personnel rushed to the scene and recovered the body.
