KARACHI: Seven bodies were recovered on early hours of Monday from Manghopir area of the metropolis whereas a superintendent of police (SP) was also gunned down in Korangi area, DawnNews reported.
All seven bodies found near Manghopir's Ijtima Ground were bearing torture marks. The victims had their hands and legs tied up with ropes.
According to police sources, three out of the seven deceased hailed from Swat and were members of a banned militant organisation.
Rescue teams claimed that the victims were shot in the head as well as in the chest.
The bodies which have not been identified yet, were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Also a superintendent of police (SP) was shot dead by unidentified men in Korangi's Bilal Colony. The victim was shifted to Jinnah hospital.
Karachi, the largest metropolitan city of Pakistan, is riddled with targeted killings, gang wars, kidnappings for ransom, extortion and terrorism.
Targeted operations led by Rangers’ forces with the support of police are ongoing in the city under a directive issued by the federal government against criminals already identified by federal, military and civilian agencies.

Do u blame india for all this or the conspiracy theories? is it so diificult to pin point the real culprits ?.when will pakistan grow up from this sectarian issues towards economic freedom of its own.any outside invester who wants to infuse money ....such news will act as a deterrant which means loss of FDI..job..prosperity..rise of anger ..hatred..illiteracy..brainwashing..Someone needs to break the chain before its too late... As an indian hope the peace prevails in the city and pakistan at large.There is no bigger relation than humanity.

The trio i.e Rangers, Police and the Federal Government have miserably failed to control the Karachi situation where killings, explosion, kidnapping for ransom and other evils continued unabated. This is really a very sorry and alarming state of affairs. Now what left to remedy the situation.......... Army and imposition of curfew to save the lives of the people including the cobs and their bosses.

every one know who has been involved violent killing in the past . .
they only kill poor people who have come for labour. .we need another shoab siddle and babar to completely finish their network as was successfully done in the past.

It is really very alarming situation in Karachi. we the people of Karachi have witnessed that nor ranger neither police are serious in operation. They have some specific objective for specific reason.
Innocent people are brutally killed in the streets and no one is arrested and charged for murder case. Chief minister sindh and Governor has only playing a dumpy role.
Police and ranger in the street are just showing their dumy presence and really not even check any suspected cars and motorist.
Ranger is involved in crime/ corruption along with police. they all are making money from the metropolitan city and supporting and nurturing their family in back home.
i have to say that the people of the city have lost their sense of security.

if they follow Islam thier will be no ethnic hatred but its conspiracy and i have to blame india for that. we should live as muslim and pakistani in any city irrespective if ethnic background. they need to be educated. Allah give me and them Hidayat.

@Aftab Alam Khan how can police and ranger do anything when they themselves have been setup by the very same political parties that are involved in gang wars and target killings ? It's not army job to govern and fix the law and order in the country.

The problem is that India is among the mix and so it will be blamed for some events that go on there. Once India (state or non-state actors) completely pull out their support for terrorists in Karachi then there will be no room for conspiracy theories.

Clearly the result of differences between several factions operating within #TTP and similar banned outfits. One important point to note that Karachi under siege by Taliban is not just a conspiracy the fact of matter is that Taliban cancer is spread all over Pakistan.
The most educated and moderate urban society is facing great danger these days. Total failure on part of Govt. and all related law enforcement agencies. They have accept that either they are fail or they have been part of this game which at the moment seems out of their hands.

Instead of a targeted operation, what Karachi needs is to disarm the militia of the karachi based political party that has terrorized this city since its founding. Sadly the federal govt cannot do much after 18 amendment.

@aam aadmi India is not perfect, but there is a judical syatem not ruled by religion and a separation from church and education. the population needs some hope for the future. Equality of choice both for boys and girls is key to economic prosperity
