LAHORE: Trials to select Punjab Junior and cadet boys and girls karate teams will be held here on June 2.

The selected teams will take part in the National Junior and Cadet Boys and Girls Karate Championship to be held here during the first week of June.

The trials will be held in the following categories: Junior (born between 1-1-97 to 31-12-98).

Boys: Below 55kg, 61, 68, 76, above 76, individual kata, team kata.

Girls: Below 48, 53, 59, above 59, individual kata, team kata.

Cadet (born between 1-1-99 and 31-12-2000):

Boys: Below 52kg, 57, 63, 70, above 70, individual kata.

Girls: Below 47, 54, above 54, individual kata.
