RAWALPINDI: Two more schoolteachers have been arrested for their alleged involvement in a paper leaking scam in Rawalpindi district.

The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Rawalpindi arrested the principal of Government High School Khayaban-i-Sir Syed Rawalpindi and a senior teacher of the same school, on Monday.

These teachers are held by the court of Special Anti-Corruption Judge Raja Ghazanfar Ali Khan, as the court rejected their bail plea.

Earlier, these teachers were on a pre-arrest bail; however the court rejected their plea for extension of the bail. After this an anti-corruption team arrested the accused outside the court room.

A few days ago, Anti-Corruption Establishment also arrested five other teachers for their alleged involvement in the scam.

However they were released from jail on bail.

All seven teachers have been accused of leaking a fifth grade English Language paper, prepared by the Punjab Education Commission, a day before the exam was supposed to be held in Rawalpindi district on February 9.
