Noise pollution

Published April 24, 2014

MODERN research has shown that the level of noise above a certain limit is harmful to our health and is responsible for various physical and mental disorders.

To avoid any unpleasant consequences, countries like the US and the UK do not allow their citizens to use horns, compulsively and quite unnecessarily.

The noise pollution is turning our people into mental patients and causing various physical ailments.

It would not be possible to cure it if we do not take appropriate steps like public participation, awareness and extending education through the media.

Moreover, necessary systems should be developed to implement rules. If this state of affairs continues, soon it will be difficult to find a physically and mentally healthy person among us. Will the city government rise to the occasion and save its own citizens from this nuisance?
