KARACHI, July 5: The Jafria Alliance leader, Allama Abbas Komaili, has termed the tragic incident of Quetta an open challenge of extremists to Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali.

Demanding a total ban on all religious parties participation in politics, Mr Komaili, who is also a senator of Muttahida Qaumi Movement, said that in the last four incidents of terrorism in Quetta dozens of persons of Millat-i-Jafria had lost their lives.

Addressing a press conference at Shah-i-Khurasan on Saturday, Mr Komaili announced a three-day mourning by Millat-i-Jafria in the country. He said that if the government of Balochistan had taken action on the initial incidents of terrorism, the Friday’s tragedy had not been occurred.

He said that the killers of Muslims could never be Muslims. In fact, they were enemies of humanity, whose sole purpose was to bring bad name to Pakistan and Muslims.

Since the religious parties had entered in politics, he said, the country was facing instability.

Mr Komaili said that Millat-i-Jafria had always demonstrated patience in the national interest. However, he added, “There was a limit to such incidents against Millat-i- Jafria and now through this press conference we demand that leaders and workers of religious parties involved in terrorism must be arrested within 72 hours, otherwise, the Millat-i-Jafria would be at liberty to determine its future line of action.”
