KHUZDAR: The Balochistan University’s Khuzdar campus started functioning on Saturday.

The university had set up two new campuses in Khuzdar and Turbat to provide higher educational facilities to students of far-flung areas of Kalat and Makran divisions.

Official sources said that educationist Haji Muhammad Aalam Jattak had been appointed head of the administration of the Khuzdar campus. However, the vice chancellor would be appointed soon.

“Formal activities at the new campus will begin next month,” sources said, adding that the Turbat campus had already started working.
