PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Saturday ordered transfer and posting of 19 officials including five district and sessions judges (DSJ), six additional district and sessions judges (ADSJ) and seven civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates (CJJM).

According to an order released by PHC Registrar Arshid Khan, two DSJs, Anwar Hussain and Azhar Khan, who were serving as judges of anti-terrorism court (ATC), were repatriated back to the high court by the provincial government and posted as DSJ at Nowshera and member Inspection team of the high court respectively.

Similarly, another judge of ATC Mohammad Zafar has been repatriated to the high court by the provincial government and has now been posted as additional registrar (judicial) at the high court. Nowshera DSJ Abdur Rauf Khan has been relieved by the high court to join his new assignment as judge of ATC at Peshawar.

Another DSJ, Sofia Waqar Khattak, who was serving as principal staff officer to the high court chief justice, has now been transferred and posted as director (instructions), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy, against an upgraded post of BPS-21 on deputation basis.

The director-I of Human Rights Directorate of the high court, Aamer Nazir Bhatti, has been transferred and posted as ADSJ at Mansehra. He is replaced by another ADSJ, Syed Ihtesham Ali, as director-I. Similarly, a CJJM, Haseena Saqlain, who was serving as officer on special duty (OSD), has now been transferred and posted against vacant post of director-II at the Human Rights Directorate.

Other transferred ADSJs include Mohammad Arshid, from Dera Ismail Khan to Swabi; Khalid Khan, from Mansehra to Charsadda; Fareed Khan Alizai, from DI Khan to Peshawar; and Kashif Nadeem, from Peshawar to DI Khan.

The deputy registrar (Judicial) at the high court has been transferred and posted as secretary to the chief justice. The transferred CJJM include Mohammad Faisal, from Charsadda to Abbottabad; Ihteshamul Haq Danishmand Khan, from Abbottabad to Charsadda; Shahzad Ali Khan, from Nathiagali (Abbottabad) to Tanghi (Charsadda); Mohammad Shoaib, from Tanghi (Charssada) to Nathiagali (Abbottabad); Syed Zahid Shah, from Paharpur (DI Khan) to Swabi; and Niamatullah shah, from Swabi to Paharpur (DI Khan). —Bureau Report
