DERA MURAD JAMALI: A rickshaw driver was killed and a college girl was abducted by a group of men at Usta Mohammed town in Balochistan on Friday.
Police said an unspecified number of armed men opened fire at the rickshaw carrying students of Government Girls’ College Usta Mohammed, killing him on the spot.
The attackers then took away one of the girls.
Body of the driver, identified as Abdul Hameed, was taken to hospital.
The source claimed that the cause of the attack was an old enmity.
“We are investigating the incident,” police said, adding that raids were being conducted to recover the girl.
