Soomro lays wreath on shrine

DADU, June 28: Acting President Mohammedmian Soomro arrived in Sehwan on Friday.

He laid floral wreath and offered Fateha at the shrine of Qalandar Lal Shahbaz.

Mr Soomro also inspected ongoing development works at the shrine. He was briefed about the works by DCO Aijaz Mangi.

District Nazim Malik Asad Sikandar informed the Senate chairman about the beautification plan of Sehwan.

HESCO EMPLOYEES: The Sindh Wapda Employees Paigham Union has demanded an end to political interference in Hesco affairs.

Speaking at a press conference here on Friday, the senior vice-chairman of the union, Liaquat Ali Arain, said power theft incidents were creating problems for Hesco employees.

He appealed to consumers to cooperate with the company employees.
