Iran hands over 123 Pakistanis

CHAGAI, June 25: Iranian officials handed over 123 people to Pakistani authorities at Taftan on Pakistan-Iran border here on Wednesday, said official sources.

These people had been arrested by Iranian authorities on illegal entry into Iran.

They all belong to different areas of Punjab and had entered Iran to go to Turkey and later to other countries in Europe on persuasion of human smugglers agents.

The officials said that they had been handed over to FIA for further investigation.—APP
