AITEZAZ Hassan Bangash, 15, will be remembered in the history of Pakistan like many great military heroes who had been awarded Nishan-i-Haider for their bravery on the battlefield.

The nation is proud of the young hero who set a sterling example of bravery and sacrificed himself at the age of 15 so that we may enjoy a better tomorrow. His timely action to engage the suicide bomber did save a school bus full of students.

Brig Nadeem Zaki Manj, Commander in Hangu, visited the grave of young Aitezaz Hassan Bangash and laid a floral wreath on behalf of Chief of the Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif, and offered Fateha.

However, there is a need to honour his courage and his memory, historically, like we do to our great leaders. For this, a brief history of his life, village, parents and his whereabouts may be included in school courses in order to encourage our young future generation.
