US immigration and naturalization have recovered and handed over three stolen sculptures to the Indian Government after Homeland Security agents seized the works, which are valued at more than $1.5 million. Amongst the returned artifacts was a "Vishnu Lakshmi" sandstone sculpture, which was stolen from the Gadgach Temple in Atru, Rajasthan and was listed in Interpol's top 10 most wanted stolen works of art.

Thank you to all those involved in this recovery. Great example of international co-operation. It is sad when people do not respect the tradition and history that goes behind these priceless treasures.
