ISLAMABAD: The Subh-e-Nau National Clay Tennis Championship will be played at the PTF Complex, Garden Avenue from Jan 15 to 20.

Shahida Kauser Farooq, chairperson of the Subh-e-Nau, said in a statement that the tournament, the first to be played in 2014, aims at promoting tennis at the grass-root levels.

She said this event will feature players in five different categories which include men’s singles, men’s doubles, junior U-18 singles, and boys U-14 singles.

Most of the leading players have confirmed their entries for the event which carries prize money worth Rs200,000.
