KARACHI, June 21: The condition of at least two hunger strikers at the Karachi Press Club deteriorated and they were shifted to the hospital on Saturday.

Lal Chand Makwano and Riaz Ahmad Memon fainted and they were shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi.

Meanwhile, the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal leaders, including Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Hafiz Hussain Ahmad and others visited the strike camp and expressed solidarity with the protesters, who did their postgraduation in agriculture in 199 but were not appointed so far.
