KARACHI: Japanese poetry in Urdu

KARACHI, June 18: The Japan Cultural Centre of the Japan Consulate General Karachi, in coordination with the Pakistan Japan Cultural Association is organising a recitation programme of Japanese poetry in Urdu here on June 28.

Chairman of the Senate, Mohammad Mian Soomro, will be the chief guest on the occasion during which work of known Japanese poet Sakutaro Hagiwara (186-1942), translated by Prof Sahar Ansari and Shahida Hasan, will be presented.—APP
