KARACHI: Man, woman found dead

Published November 26, 2007

KARACHI, Nov 25: Decomposed bodies of a man and woman were found from an apartment in Shah Faisal Colony.

The deceased man identified as Ayub was the owner of the apartment. The woman found dead was his guest who had come to Ayub’s place a week ago with a young man, believed to be her son. However, the young man has been missing triggering suspicions over his role behind the murders.

Ayub, who hailed from Kashmir, was a taxi driver by profession. “It is not clear if the guests were related to the deceased, but they belonged to Kashmir,” said a duty officer at the relevant police station.

He said that the police came to know about the incident after Ayub’s neighbours were alerted to the stench emanating from the apartment.

The official said that the bodies were at least two to three days old.—Staff Reporter
