DADU, Dec 10: Three people died while several others were injured in three separate accidents in Dadu district on Tuesday.

One passenger died and 15 others were injured in a road accident in Fareed Babar village near Khairpur Nathan Shah town.

The passenger bus had been coming to Khairpur Nathan Shah from Qasibo village in the Kachho belt and fell in a ditch near Fareed Babar village when the driver lost control due to over-speeding.

The deceased passenger was identified as Sardar Solangi.

The injured were taken to the taluka hospital in Khairpur Nathan Shah where the condition of Habibullah, Azizullah, Mohammad Yousif and Abdullah was said to be serious.

Meanwhile, a woman was killed in another accident on the Betto Jatoi bypass near Mehar town.

A Mazda truck ran a motorcycle over, resulting in the death of a woman, identified as Sadooran Khoso, and injuries to two little girls, Sorya and Mureed Khoso.

The victim had been travelling with her family from Ladhoo village to Mehar town for the medical check-up of Sorya.

In yet another road accident on Tuesday, the driver of a car died when it fell over in a ditch on the Super Highway near Nooriabad town.

Nadeem Ahmed died while two other passengers, Azim and Nazimuddin, were injured.

The deceased belonged to Hyderabad and the body was handed over to the heirs.

Body found

The body of a middle-aged person was found on Tuesday at check post no 6 on the Super Highway near Nooriabad town.

Nooriabad police ascertained the age of the victim to be 50 years old.

It also bore torture marks, they said, adding that its identity could not be ascertained.
