Published December 14, 2001

MANSEHRA, Dec 13: All the non-digital telephone numbers in the Mansehra district have been changed into the digital ones.

The district engineer, telephones, Mumtaz Hussain, talking to reporters here on Thursday, said that around 500, non-digital/EMD numbers of the old exchange of the Mansehra district, have been changed, with immediate effect, to digital ones.

He said that a non-digital number while removing the first digit and adding 305 can be operated as a digital number.

Elaborating, he said if a subscriber has telephone number 2004, and removing 2 then adding 305, his/her new number will be 305004.

In near future, he added, all the remaining facilities would be introduced in the district.
