LAHORE, Oct 31: The Lahore pool winners of the 9th DAWN In Education Spelling Bee competition will take on Multan and Faisalabad pool winners in the Lahore Regional Championship at Ali Institute of Education auditorium on Friday (today).

On the third day of the 9th DAWN In Education Spelling Bee Lahore pool competition on Thursday, seven schools emerged as winners in the 15-17 age group students category.

The seven winner schools are: Beaconhouse School System, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore; Bloomfield Hall School, Upper Branch, Gulberg, Lahore; Convent of Jesus & Mary, Lahore; Army Public School & College, Main Campus, Gujranwala Cantt; Lahore Grammar School, Shah Jamal Campus, Lahore; Beaconhouse School System, Garden Town, Lahore; and DHA Senior School for Girls, Lahore.

Azka Khan and Tanwir Shah acted as pronouncers, while Anam Haq, Kanza Javed, Rehan Khan and Anas Mirza acted as judges at the Lahore pool rounds.

The Spelling Bee Competition is being organised by the Dawn Media Group in partnership with the US Embassy at Ali Institute of Education auditorium.
