KOHAT, Oct 27: A tussle has started between MPA Ziaullah Bangash of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and the chief minister’s adviser Amjid Afridi over jurisdiction of respective constituency and who could visit the government departments in city to oversee working there, sources said.

They said that according to Mr Bangash only he could oversee the affairs of government departments, hospitals, schools and colleges, as all these were located in his constituency PF-38 i.e. the whole city.

However, Mr Afridi, who was elected from PF-37, had also been paying visits to these departments, as being adviser to the CM he could also visit the government departments in city areas for monitoring their performance.

The sources said that the two had also exchanged hot words over the issue of responsibilities and jurisdiction which might lead to a serious situation between them. Besides, instead of bringing improvements their visits could disturb working of government institutions.
