CHARSADDA, Oct 13: Unknown assailants on Sunday shot dead a police constable in Tangi police station limits here.
Constable Sher Ali, serving as in-charge of security of additional sessions judge, Tangi, was attacked when he was going for duty on his motorbike. He was killed on the spot.
The attackers managed to escape after the incident.
Brother of the deceased lodged FIR against unknown miscreants, after which police started investigation into the incident.
Later, the policeman was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard. —Correspondent
