what is happening to our society? why are we frustrated? who is responsible for these kinds of crime after culprit? society? media? vulgar literature? law enforcement agencies?

A society who loses respect for its women is utterly hopeless. Who is responsible for all this? I blame... 1- Illiteracy.. Not knowing whats right and whats wrong 2-Those women who do not respect themselves and move about 'casually' making many men unconsciously or consciously think negative about them. (and indirectly about other women as well) 3- Those parents who do not teach their children what's right and whats wrong and do not keep a check on them. 3- Electronic and print Media, including Film, TV, magazines, and advertising all of which encourage the use of female body in selling their services or whatever they are selling.. (because a society in general is male dominated) 4- The practice of late marriage in society. It is a biological fact that after puberty another 'basic instinct' develops in human body both in male and female and just like hunger and thirst it also has to be fulfilled.. why wait for the age of 30 or more to get married? many men and women who are weak in their will 'slip' out early and indulge in such things. 5- Law enforcement agencies who fail to give exemplary punishment to the ones who does such heinous crimes so no one else dare think about doing such a thing again.

Recently I had a debate with fellow female friends, who claimed that women who dress up modern and not as per the Islamic teachings are inviting men to rape them!! and believed that at some point it was justified since Lust is a Man's nature and we can not deny that. Truthfully I was surprised to hear such an biased, illiterate and negative thinking. However after some time I realized that its not their fault to think that way since that's what our society teaches us. I urge all parents, school management, offices and media to raise awareness among the girls about such situations and how can one avoid being a victim of such heinous act. Please do not shy away from this subject, it s necessary to help our females to boost their confidence to speak up in such situations!!!

Since you have access to the internet, please do your research regarding rape. Rape has little to do with what you have outlined. You must be very careful not to blame a victim of rape for her or his rape. The rapist believes he can do whatever he wants, whenever and to whomever, and escape punishment. He chooses those weaker than himself so he can control them. He kills them, thinking that will prevent apprehension, or because he enjoys killing. No man with any self-respect or respect for women and children would rape.
